given -3x + 8y = 5 ------------ (1)
6x - 2y = 10 ---------- (2)
(1) × 2 ⇒ -6x + 16y = 10
(2) ⇒ 6x - 2y = 10
-----------------------------------------------
14y = 20
y = 20/14
y = 10/7
sub y = 10/7 in (1)
-3x + 8(10/7) = 5
-3x + 80/7 = 5
-3x = 5- 80/7
-3x = 35 - 80/7
-3x = -45/7
x =-45/21
x = -45/21 y= 10/7
6x - 2y = 10 ---------- (2)
