\tt{Answer\ :}

5x + \dfrac{7}{2} =  \dfrac{7x}{2} - 14

5x -  \dfrac{7x}{2} = -14 -  \dfrac{7}{2}

Take L.C.M. of liked fractions :-

\dfrac{10x\ -\ 7x}{2} = \dfrac{-\ 28\ - 7}{2}

\dfrac{3x}{2} = \dfrac{-35}{2}

3x = \dfrac{-35}{2} × 2

3x = \dfrac{-70}{2}

3x = -35

x = \dfrac{-35}{3}

\huge{\tt{Verification\ :}}

5x + \dfrac{7}{2} =  \dfrac{7x}{2} - 14

Put the value of x = \dfrac{-35}{3}

5( \dfrac{-35}{3}) + \dfrac{7}{2} = \dfrac{7x}{2} - 14

\dfrac{-175}{3} + \dfrac{7}{2} = \dfrac{7}{2} ( \dfrac{-35}{3} )

\dfrac{-350\ + \ 21}{6} = \dfrac{-245}{6} - 14

\dfrac{-329}{6} = \dfrac{-245\ -\ 84}{6}

\dfrac{-329}{6} = \dfrac{-329}{6}

\underline{\text{Hence,\ it\  is\  verified..!}}

So, the value of x is \dfrac{-35}{3}
