Solution :

_____________________________________________________________

Given :

a²b²x² + b²x - a²x - 1 = 0

_____________________________________________________________

To Find :

The value of x,.

_____________________________________________________________

The given equation can be written as follows,.

⇒ a²b²x² + b²x - a²x - 1 = 0

⇒ a²b²x² + (b² - a²)x - 1 = 0

⇒ a²x(b²x - 1) + 1(b²x - 1) = 0

⇒ (a²x + 1)(b²x - 1) = 0

For this equation to be 0,.

Either a²x + 1 = 0 (or) b²x - 1 = 0

So,    a²x = -1  (or) b²x = 1

Hence, x =  \frac{-1}{a^2} (or) x =  \frac{1}{b^2}
