Solution :-

We will do thie method by substitution method. As, we will substitute the value of x or y from equation 1 or 2. and put the value in other equation.

A.T.Q

→ From eq 2.

x + 2y = 9

x = 9 - 2y

Put this Value in equation 1.

3(9 - 2y) + 2y = 7

27 - 6y + 2y = 7

-4y = 7 - 27

-4y = -20

y = -20/-4

y = 5

→Put Value of y in eq 2.

x + 2(5) = 9

x + 10 = 9

x = 9 - 10

x = -1

Answer:

3x+2y=7

2y=7-3x

y=7-3x/2

x+2y=9

x+2(7-3x/2)=9

x+7-3x=9

7-2x=9

-2x=9-7

-2x=2

x=-1

y=7-3x/2

y=7-3(-1)/2

y=5/2
