Solve for x and y: 47x+3 ly = 63 and 31x+47y = 15​

Given 47x + 31y = 63 ...... &...... 31x + 47y = 15

adding both the equations we get 78x + 78y = 78

---------Dividing the equation by 78 we get

assume this as equation as 3

now , subtracting the first 2 equations we get

---------16x - 16y = 48

dividing the equation by 16 we get,

---------- x - y = 3

assume this as equation 4

Adding both the equations we get

2x = 4

x = 4/2

x = 2

substituting x = 2 in equation 4 we get ,

y = -1

THEREFORE X = 2 , Y = -1
