A/a,4x+6y=3xy-----------(i)

Also,8x+9y=5xy-----------(ii)

Dividing equation (i) &(ii)by xy we get,

4/y+6/x=3‐----------(iii)

8/y+9/x=5------------(iv)

Putting 1/x=m and 1/y=n in above equation we get

4n+6m=3-------(v)

8n+9m=5--------(vi)

Multiplying equation( v) by 2 and then subtracting equation (v) from (vi) we get

m=1/3

Putting m=1/3 in equation we get

n=1/4

Now 1/x=m

Thus,1/x=1/3

x=3

Similarly y=4

Thus(3,4) is the solution of given system of linear equations in two variables x&y
