Answer:

let 1/x be u and 1/y be v

now , equation will be ,

5u +v=2

and 6u + 3v =-1

On solving , we get u = 7/9 and v= -17/9

So , x = 9/7 and y= -9/17

Thank u

Dheerajsinha: Is this a formulae *5u+3v=-1*
raindeepkaur: no dear
raindeepkaur: I just solved eqn
raindeepkaur: ntg extra
raindeepkaur: don't u get it ?
Dheerajsinha: No
raindeepkaur: just assume 1/ x as u or any variable and u will get a linear equation solve it
raindeepkaur: very simple
raindeepkaur: understood...?
Dheerajsinha: Okk
