Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 3y + 4 =0

2x + 3y = 0- 4

2x + 3y = -4 --------------> eqn 1.

x- 2y - 5 = 0

x - 2y = 0+5

x - 2y = 5 ----------------------> eqn 2.

:- Multiply eqn 2. by 2

:- 2( x - 2y = 5 )

:- 2x - 4y = 10 -------------------> eqn 3.

Now , subtract eqn 1. from eqn 3.

2x - 4y = 10

- 2x + 3y = -4

(-) (+)

-------------------------

-7y = 14

y = 14 / -7

y = -2

Now , put y = -2 in eqn 2.

x - 2y = 5

x - 2 (-2) = 5

x +4 = 5

x = 5-4

x = 1

:- Solution = ( x , y )

= ( 1 , -2)

Hope it will help you .........
