Given 1st Equation is 4/x - 5y = 112

                                    4 - 5xy = 112x  ------ (1)

           2nd Equation is 3/x - 4y = 87

                                       3 - 4xy = 87x ----- (2)

On solving (1)*3 & (2)*4, we get

12 - 16xy = 348

12 - 15xy = 336

 -------------------------
     -xy = 12x

        y = -12x/x

        y = -12.

Substitute y = -12 in (1), we get

4 - 5xy = 112x

4 - 5x(-12) = 112x

4 + 60x = 112x

4 = 112x - 60x

4 = 52x

4/52 = x

x = 1/13.

Therefore the value of x = 1/13 and y = -12.

Hope this helps!
