x - 4y = 13. . ----(1)
3x + 2y + 3 = 0. ----(2)
From (1), we get : x = 13+4y. ----(3)
Put the value of x in (2)
3(4y+13) + 2y + 3 = 0
12y + 39 + 2y + 3 =
14y = -42
y = -42/14 = -3
Put the value of y in (3), we get x = 13+4(-3) = 13-12 = 1
