Answer:

x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

xy=12.......(i)

yz=20.......(ii)

zx=15.......iii)

Now find value of y from eq.ii)

y=20/z........iv)

after that find value of z from eq. iii )

z=15/x

Put this value in eq. iv)

y= 20/15/x

y=20x/15

Now put this value in eq. I)

x20x/15=12

20x^2=12*15

20x^2=180

x^2,=9

x=3

Now you can also find out the value of the other two variables.

The value of x is 3.

Given:-

xy = 12

yz = 20

zx = 15

To Find:-

The value of x.

Solution:-

We can simply calculate the value of x by using the following procedure.

As

xy = 12

yz = 20

zx = 15

Here, on changing the sides

y = 20/z

z = 15/x

So,

y = 20/15/x

y = 20x/15

Putting this value in xy

xy = 12

x \times  \frac{20x}{15}  = 12

 \frac{ {20x}^{2} }{15}  = 12

20 {x}^{2}  = 12 \times 15

20 {x}^{2}  = 180

 {x}^{2}  =  \frac{180}{20}

 {x}^{2}  = 9

x =  \sqrt{9}

x = 3

Hence, The value of x is 3.
