Answer:

=x-1/x-2+x-3/x-4=10/3

=(x^2-1-2x+x^2-3-4x)/x=10/3 {LCM}

=(2x^2-6x-4)/x=10/3

=6x^2-18x-12=10x {cross multiplication}

=6x^2-28x-12=0

=3x^2-14x-6=0

NOW, using quadratic formula,

D=b^2-4ac

=(-14) ^2-4(3)(-6)

= 196+72

=268

NOW, x=(-b+-√D)/2a

=(14+-√268)/2(3)

=(14+-2√67)/6

one time plus and one time minus,

=(14+2√67)/6 , (14-2√67)/6

= (7+√67)/3 , (7-√67)/3

:.x= (7+√67)/3, (7-√67)/3

Step-by-step explanation:

Values of x can be 0,2 and 4,but in the question it is given that x≠1,2,3

So,discard x=2

Value of x: 0 and 4
