EXPLANATION.

Shows it graphically equation.

(a) = 4x + 3y = 24  ...(1).

(b) = 2x - y - 2 = 0.  ......(2).

In the graph red line indicates the graph ⇒ 4x + 3y = 24.

In the graph blue line indicates the graph ⇒ 2x - y - 2 = 0.

From Graph (1) we get,

⇒ 4x + 3y = 24.   .....(1).

put x = 0 in equation, we get,

⇒ 4(0) + 3y = 24.

⇒ 3y = 24.

⇒ y = 8.

Their co-ordinates are = ( 0,8).

Put y = 0 in equation we get,

⇒ 4x + 3(0) = 24.

⇒ 4x = 24.

⇒ x = 6.

Their co-ordinates are = (6,0).

From graph (2) we get,

⇒ 2x - y - 2 = 0.

put x = 0 in equation we get,

⇒ 2(0) - y - 2 = 0.

⇒  -y - 2 = 0.

⇒ y = -2.

Their co-ordinates are = (0,-2).

put y = 0 in equation we get,

⇒ 2x - 0 - 2 = 0.

⇒ 2x = 2.

⇒ x =  1.

Their co-ordinates are = (1,0).

Both graph can cut each other at point = ( 3,4).
