Solve graphically the simultaneous equations. Plot only 3 points per line.

Take a scale 2cm = 1unit on both axes.
3 x− 2y + 4 = 0 and x + y + 3 = 0.

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-2y+4=0 ..... Rearranging

3x=4+2y

x=4+2y ....(1)

3

(i)When y=1 (ii)When y=4 (iii)When y=-5

x=4+2y x=4+2y x=4+2y

3 3 3

x=4+2(1) x=4+2(4) x=4+2(-5)

3 3 3

x=4+2 x=4+8 x=4-10

3 3 3

x= 6 x= 12 x= -6

3 3 3

x=2 x=4 x=-2

x+y+3=0 ..... Rearranging

y=-3-x .......(2)

(i)When x=-1 (ii)When x=-4 (iii)When x=5

y=-3-x y=-3-x y=-3-x

y=-3-(-1) y=-3-(-4) y=-3-5

y=-3+1 y=-3+4 y= -8

y=-2 y=1

Now you can make the graph with above answer
