solve hard puzzle you are given two ropes and a lighter. each of the two ropes has the following property: if you light one end of the rope,it will take exactly one hour to burn to other end. it doesn't necessarilly burn at a uniform rate.how can you measure a period of 45 minutes? solve this puzzle time:five hours you can share this.

light both the ends of the two ropes. After 30 minutes 1st rope will be completely burned up and there will be 30 minutes of the 2nd rope left. Light the other end of the 2nd rope it will burn up in 15 minutes. Total time taken is 45 minutes

1. Light the first rope from both end and at the same time light second rope from one end only.
2. After the first rope is completely burned, it means half hour is completed.
3. As the first rope get completely burned, light
the other end of second rope also
4. As the second rope will get completely burned , 45 minutes will be counted.
