Given Points

⇒P(-5,-4) and Q(3,7)

To Find

⇒Distance Between PQ

Formula

⇒PQ² = (x₂ - x₁)² + (y₂ - y₁)²

We Have

⇒x₁ = -5 , y₁ = -4 , x₂ = 3 and y₂ = -7

Now

⇒PQ² = (3-(-5))² + (-7-(-4))²

⇒PQ² = (3+5)² + (-7+4)²

⇒PQ² = (8)² + (-3)²

⇒PQ² = 64 + 9

⇒PQ² = 73

⇒PQ= √(73)

Distance Between PQ = √(73) Units

Answer

⇒PQ= √(73)Units
