∆ bita = lemda ∆D/d

lemda = ∆B ×d/ ∆D

lemda = (10^-3)(0.03×10^-3)/5×10^-2

= 5000A°

Wavelength = ?

We have,

wavelength of light = Xd/D

= 10^-2 × 0.3 × 10^-3 / 5 × 10^-2

= 0.06 × 10^-3

= 600000 × 10^-10 m

= 600000 A°

I think , fringe width should be 0.03 mm

and distance between slits should be 10^-3 m.

So, as to give wavelength 6000 A°
