4+3(t+2)=16

4 + 3(t + 2) = 16 \\ 3(t + 2) = 16 - 4 \\ t + 2 =  \frac{12}{3}  \\ t = 4 - 2 \\ t = 2

4+3t+6 = 16
=> 10+3t = 16
=> 3t = 16-10
=> t = 6/3
=> t =2
