Solution

Given : Temperature in °Celcius = -16°CTo Do: Convert intoFahrenheitSolution

Formula to be used : \frac{c}{5}

f - \frac{32}{9} Putting c = -16°(- 16)/5 = (f - 32)/9⇒ (- 16) × 9 × 1/5 = f - 32⇒ -144/5 = f - 32⇒ f = 32 - 144/5⇒ f = (160 - 144)/5⇒ f = 16/5⇒ f = 3.2#Hence the required value of -16°C into °F = 3.2°F .

Given,

temeprature in celcius = -16

which is C= -16

Formula used,

( F - 32 ) /9 = C/5

( F-32 ) / 9 = (-16)/5

multiply by 9 both sides,

F - 32 -16 ×9

--------× 9 = ----------

9 5

F - 32 = -144 /5 = - 28.8

F = 32 -28.8

F = 3.2

Hence,

-16 degree celcius = 3.2 degree farenheit

i hope this is useful for you.
