ABCD is a parallelogram.

Area of a parallelogram is Base × altitude

Base = AD = 15 CM.

Altitude = FC = 20 cm

Area = AD × FC = 15 × 20 = 300 Sq. cm

We will take Base as DC = 25 cm

Altitude can be taken as x .

Area is 300 Sq. cm

here we can form a equation 25 × x = 300

x = 300/25 = 12 cm.

therefore Ae = 12 cm
