AB is the height of the triangle and BC is base of the triangle.
area of triangle= 1/2×base ×height
A(ABC)= 1/2×BC×AB
=
 \frac{1}{2}  \times 5 \times 12 \\ 1 \times 5 \times 6
Therefore, area of the triangle is 30cm².
