Ratio is given as 2:3:4
Let the common factor be x and sum of angles of an triangle is 180
2x+3x+4x=180
9x=180
X=20
2x=2*20=40
3x=3*20=60
4x=4*20=80
therefore smallest angle is 40

let the sides be 2x 3x and 4x

using angle sum property,

2x+3x+4x=180

9x=180

x=180/9

x=20

therefore,2x=2*20=40 degrees

                3x=3*20=60 degrees

                4x=4*20=80 degrees

therefore, 40 degrees is the measure of the smallest angle
