  • Displacement : Difference between initial and final position ( with sign )

 \large{ \underline{ \underline{  \:  \bigstar{\:  \:  \:  \:  \: { \pmb{ \sf{Solution \:  : }}}}}}}

Diameter of circle 5 m [ given ]

Hence, Radii of circle 2.5 m

Particle made 1+0.5 revolution

hence, displacement by 1 revolution + displacement by 0.5 revolution

displacement by 1 revolution is zero [ coming on the previous position where it started ]

displacement by 0.5 revolution is 2.5 + 2.5 = 5 m [ completing π angular displacement ]

Hence,total displacement is 5 m in the direction of the other end of diameter from initial position
