ANSWER: p=2

8p÷2^-3=2^9

8p÷2^−3=29

8(8p)=512

Step 1: Divide both sides by 8.

8(8p)/8 = 512/8

8p=64

Step 2: Solve Exponent.

8^p=64

p=64÷8

p=8
