Given:-

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bullet\bf\: \: \: {Diameter\: of\: the\: circle\: is\: 14 cm}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bullet\bf\: \: \: {Then,\: radius\: will\: be\: 7 cm}

To find:-

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bullet\bf\: \: \: {Circumference\: of\: the\: circle}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bullet\bf\: \: \: {Area\: of\: the\: circle}

Solution:-

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:\underline{\sf{\red{Finding\: circumference}}}

{\dag}\:{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\purple{Circumference_{(Circle)} = 2 \pi r}}}}}

\tt:\implies{Circumference = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}} \times \cancel{7}}

\tt:\implies{Circumference = 2 \times 22}

\tt:\implies{Circumference = 44}

Therefore,

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \star\bf\: \: \: {Circumference = 44cm}

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \:\underline{\sf{\red{Finding\: area}}}

{\dag}\:{\underline{\boxed{\sf{\purple{Area_{(Circle)} = \pi r^2}}}}}

\tt:\implies{Area = \dfrac{22}{7} \times (7)^2}

\tt:\implies{Area = \dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}} \times \cancel{49}}

\tt:\implies{Area = 22 \times 7}

\tt:\implies{Area = 154}

Therefore,

\: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \star\bf\: \: \: {Area = 154cm^2}

Hence,

\sf{Circumference\: of\: the\: circle\: is\: 44cm}

\sf{Area\: of\: the\: circle\: is\: 154cm^2}

We know Area of circle = πr^2

Where r is the radius of the circle.

Radius = 1/2 of Diameter

Radius of circle = 1/2 × 14= 14/2 = 7 units

Area of the circle = 22/7 × 7 × 7

Area of the circle = 22 × 7

Area of the circle = 154 sq units

Circumference = 44cm
