Hello friend

_____________________________

Given:

Length (L) = 50 cm = 50 x 10^-2m.

radius (r) = 0.5mm = 0.5 x 10^-3m

= 5 x 10^-4 m.

Resistance (R) = 30 Ohm.

We know that,

Resistivity =

p = \frac{RA}{l} \\ \\ and \: a \: = \pi \: r {}^{2} \\ \\ p = R \frac{\pi \: r {}^{2} }{l}

By putting the given values we get,

 = \frac{30 \times 3.14 \times (5 \times 10 {}^{ - 4}) {}^{2} }{50 \times 10 {}^{ - 2} } \\ \\ \\ = \frac{30 \times 3.14 \times 25 \times 10 {}^{ - 8} }{50 \times 10 {}^{ - 2} } \\ \\ \\ = 47.1 \times \times 10 {}^{ - 6} ohm \\ \\ \\ = 4.71 \times 10 {}^{ - 5} ohm \\ \\ \\ therefore \: resistivity \: of \: the \: wire \:<br /><br /> is\: 4.71 \times 10 {}^{ - 5} ohm
Thanks...
