Seg PM is perpendicular to segment QR...... (given)
Therefore.
By the theorem of geometric mean.
PM2 = QM X MR
10 2 =8 X MR
100/8 = MR
Therefore MR = 12.5 units
QR = QM + MR......... (Q-M-R)
=8 + 12.5
= 20.5 UNITS
THEREFORE.
QR = 20.5 units
