The answer,

1.

 \frac{2x + 1}{1 - 3x} = \frac{2}{3}

=> 3(2x+1) = 2(1-3x)

=> 6x+3 = 2 - 6x

=>6x+6x = 2-3

=>12x = -1

=> x = -1/12

2.

8x + \frac{x}{3} = 11

=>  \frac{24x + x}{3} = 11

=> 25x = 33

=> x = 33/25

hope this helps!
Cheers

d) By cross multiplication .... we get
=> 2(1-3x) = 3(2x+1)
=> 2 - 6x = 6x +3
=> -6x - 6x = 3-2
=> -12x = 1
=> x = 1/-12

e) 8x + x/3 = 11
=> (24x + x )/3 =11
=> 25x /3 =11
=> x = 33/25
