Calculate the moles of Sodium hydroxide contained in 160 g of it.

Answer = 160 g of Sodium hydroxide. 160 g of Sodium hydroxide = 1 mol × 160 / 40 = 4 mol.

mass of 1 molecule of NaOH = 23+16+1=40g

∴ moles in 160 g NaOH = 160/40= 4 moles

so, there are 4 moles of NaOH in 160g of it
