 \Large{\bf{\green{\mathfrak{\dag{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}}}}

  • 3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

  • Solve and find factors

\Large{\bf{\red{\mathfrak{\dag{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}}}}

  • 3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

We are going to solve the above quadratic equation by PSF method,

  • P = 3x² * 2 = 6x²

  • S = - 5x

  • F = - 3x , - 2x

Taking the equation,

  • 3x² - 5x + 2 = 0

Substituting - 3x , - 2x in place of - 5x,

  • 3x² - 3x - 2x + 2 = 0

Taking out the common ones,

  • 3x (x - 1) - 2 (x - 1) = 0

  • (x - 1) (3x - 2) = 0

  • x - 1 = 0 , 3x - 2 = 0

  • x = 1 , 3x = 2

  • x = 1 , x =  \sf \dfrac{2}{3}

  • x = 1 ,  \sf \dfrac{2}{3}

Therefore,

  •  \underline{\boxed{\therefore{\purple{\tt{Factors \:of \:3x^2 \:- \:5x\: + \:2\: = \:0\: are\: 1\: , \: \dfrac{2}{3}}}}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

 {3x}^{2}  - 5x + 2 = 0

a = 3

b = -5

c = 2

x =  \frac{ - b \frac{ + }{ - }  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2}

 \frac{5 +  \sqrt{ { (- 5) }^{2}- 4 \times 3 \times 2 } }{2}

 \frac{5 +  \sqrt{25 - 24} }{2}

 \frac{5 +  \sqrt{1} }{2}

Taking (+) sign we get

x =  \frac{5 + 1}{2}  =  \frac{6}{2}  = 3

x = 3

Taking (-) sign we get.

 x = \frac{5 - 1}{2}  =  \frac{4}{2}  = 2

x = 2

I hope it's help
