so.. let x be length of breadth of rectangle

according to question
l = 3x - 6

in case 2 .....perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
2 ( l+ x) = 148
2 ( 3x- 6 + x) = 148
4x - 6 = 74
4x = 80
x = 20

substitute value of x in l = 3x - 6
l = 3x - 6
l = 3 x 20 - 6 = 54

therefore length of rectangle is 54 cm and breadth of rectangle is 20 cm.
