A wooden cuboid is 24 cm by 30 cm by 36 cm.
We know volume of cuboid = Length ×Width ×Height
So,
Total volume of our wooden block = 24 by 30 by36 = 25920 cm3
Also given : 8 cubes of equal sides are cut off from the 8 corners of the cuboid . The volume of the remaining block is 20088 cm3.
Let Length of edge of cube = a
We know , volume of cube = ( Side )3 , So
25920 - 8 ( a )3 = 20088
8 a³ = 5832
a³ = 729
a³ = 9³
a=9
so each cube will have edge=9cm

(80% of x)- (75% of x) = 500
5% of x =500
x = (500 x 100/5) = 10000
