Let the number of coins of Rs1, Rs2 and Rs5 be x, y and z respectively.
Now,
x + y + z = 160
1.x + 2.y + 3.z = 300
z=3y
Putting z=3y in the above two equations, we get:
x + 4y = 160
x + 11y = 300
Solving these, we get:
y = 20
Thus,
x = 80
Therefore,
z = 60
Therefore, number of Rs1 coins, Rs2 coins and Rs5 coins are 80, 20 and 60 respectively.
Hope you find this useful.
