to solve this problem we can draw a diagonal BD of trapezium ABCD. Now we hv 2 triangles, ABD BCD.
in triangle ABD,
L is d midpoint of AD
LO parallel to AB THEREFORE, LO = 1/2(AB) .....I
similarly, in triangle BCD, MO = 1/2(CD)........2
NOW ADDING I 2 we get
LM = 1/2(AB+CD)
