Answer:

We know that :-

sec^2 + tan ^2 =1

so

(sec-tan)^2 = sec^2 + tan^2 -2 sec tan

:- (a-b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab

so , 1 - 2 sec tan

sec = 1/cos and tan = sin/ cos

so , 1- 2 sin/cos^2
