BY ELIMINATION METHOD :
X+ Y = 3
X- Y = 4

2X = 7
X = 7/2
_______
Now substitute x = 7/2 in X + Y = 3
X + Y = 3
7/2+ Y = 3
Y = 3× 2/7
Y = 6/7
