Which is colder -23 degrees celsius or -50 degrees celsius?

-50 degree celsius is more colder than -23 degree celsius.

• In the cases of positive values,

Greater the number = Greater the numerical value.

But,

• In the cases of negative values ,

Greater the number = Less the numerical value.

Because,with the greater numbers in negative direction,the numerical value goes far away from the positive zero in the negative direction which decreases the numerical value.

That's why -50°C is colder than -23°C.
