Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

      1/ p+q+x = 1/p + 1/q +1/x

    1/ p+q+x - 1/x = 1/p + 1/q

     take l.cm

   =x -p-q-x/x(p+q+x) = p+q/pq

   = -(p+q) / x(p+q+x) = p+q/pq

divide by (p+q) on both side

= -1 / x(p+q+x) = 1 / pq

= -pq = x(p+q+x)

= xp+xq+x² = -pq

= x²+ xp+xq+pq

= x² + (p+q)x+pq

now factorise it

=x²+px+qx+pq

= x(x+p) + q(x+p)

= (x+p)(x+q)

now x=-p and x=-q

hence x=-p and-q

hence the given equation is solved
