 \frac{187}{12}  - ( \frac{39}{4}  +  \frac{23}{6} )

lcm \: of \: 4 \: and \: 6 \: is \: 24

multiply both to make denominator 24

 \frac{187}{12}  - ( \frac{234}{24}  +  \frac{92}{24} )

 \frac{187}{12}  -  \frac{326}{24}

lcm of 12 and 24 is 24

 \frac{187}{12}  \times 2  -   \frac{326}{24}

 \frac{374}{24}  -  \frac{326}{24}

 =  \frac{48}{24}

 = 2
