then,

x + 1/2 x + 27 = 36

1/1 x + 1/2 x = 36 -27

( 2+1/2) x = 9

3/2x = 9

x= 9 ÷ 3/2

x= 9 × 2/3 = 18/3 = 6

then,

length = 12

breadth = 15
