HEY...

 {(2p + 6q)}^{2}


 = {(2p)}^{2} + 2 \times 2p \times 6q + {(6q)}^{2}

 = 4 {p}^{2} + 24pq + 6 {q}^{2}

Identity used is...

 {(a + b)}^{2} = {a}^{2} + 2ab + {b}^{2}
