4/5x-3 3/4x=2 1/2

4/5x-15/4x=5/2

The LCM of 5 and 4 is 20.

16/20x-75/20x=5/2

(16x-75x)/20 =5/2

-59x/20=5/2

-59x=5/2*20

-59x=50

x=-50/59
