Given:p^{2}-5p+6=0

we have to find the value of p.

p^{2}-5p+6=0

p^{2}-3p-2p+6=0

p(p-3)-2(p-3)=0

p-3=0,p-2=0

p=3,p=2.

The values of p are 3,2.
