The diagonal of a rhombus are 12 cm and 16 cm .Find the area and also the length of the sides of the rhombus (Hint: use Pythagoras theorem for finding the side)

2 diagonals divide the rhombus into 4 triangles.
Area of any one triangle = (1/2)*base*height = (1/2)*6*8 = 24 cm^s
Area of rhombus = 4*24 = 96 cm^s
Length of the side of rhombus = length of hypotenuse of triangle
= sqrt(6^2 + 8^2) = 10cm
