↪Actually welcome to the world of DYNAMIC PHYSICS

↪Basically the first question of the concept of the LINEAR IMPULSIVE FORCE

↪since we know that

↪Change in the linear momentum is equal to the Impulsive force that is

↪〽Mdv = F. dt

↪the unit is N-s

↪and the second question is based on the concpet of the

⭐RATE OF CHANGE OF LINEAR MOMETUM OF BODY IS DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL TO THE PRODUCT OF THE MASS AND THE ACCELERATION OF THE BODY

〽F = ma

a)    given mass,m=160x10⁻³kg

and speed,v=40m/s

and time,t=0.04s

therefore acceeleration,a=v/t=40/0.04=10³m/s²

average force,F=ma=160x10⁻³x10³=160N

b)  given force on A produces an acceleration of 30m/s²

⇒F=m₁a₁=m₁x30....................................................(1)

next when it acts on B it produces an acceleration of 18m/s²

⇒F=m₂a₂=m₂x18.....................................................(2)

now (1)/(2) gives

1=(m₁x30)/(m₂x18)

⇒m₁/m₂=3/5
