0.2x + 0.3y = 1.3 ( x 10 on both sides)
2x + 3y = 13 ....... i

x = (13 - 3y)/2

0.4x + 0.5y =2.3 ( x 10 on both sides)
4x + 5y = 23........ ii

by substitution method

putting the value of x in eq ii

4{(13 - 3y)/2} +5y =23

y = 3

for x

take any equation and put the value of y and x will be

x = 2
