1/x -1/x -2=3

=(1-1-2x)/x = 3

= -2x = 3x

= -2x-3x=0

= -5x=0

= x=0

hope this helps you

Answer:

 \frac{1}{x}  -  \frac{1}{x - 2}  = 3 \\  \frac{x - 2 - x}{(x)(x - 2)}  = 3 \\  - 2 = 3x(x - 2) \\ 3 {x}^{2} - 6x + 2 = 0

Let a = 3 , b = –6 , c = 2

Then D = b² - 4ac = 36 - 24 = 12

By quadratic formula

x =  \frac{ - b \:±  \:  \sqrt{D} }{2a}  \\ x =   \frac{6±  \sqrt{12} }{6}  \\ x = 1±  \frac{2 \sqrt{3} }{6 }  \\ x = 1± \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{3}
