Solve the equation 2x+3y=10 and 3x+2y=10. Using the values of X and y find the value of k for equation is+2y=14

Answer:

2x+3y=10

Multiplying above equation by 3,we get,

6x+9y=30.....(i)

3x+2y=10

Multiplying above equation by 2 we get,

6x+4y=20......(ii)

Subtracting equation (ii) from (i),

5y=10

y=2

Substituting value of y in equation (ii),

6x+4×2=20

→6x=12

x=2
