here the sum

2x² +4x -16

according to question we have to solve this by factorisation method

2x² +4x -16

2x² +8x -4x -16

2x (x +4 ) -4 (x + +4)

(2x-4) (x+4)

so either (2x -4) = 0 or (x+4 ) =0

 \huge \underline \mathbb {SOLUTION:-}

Given:

  • 2x² + 4x - 16 = 0

Explanation:

According to the given question:

Solve the equation 2x² + 4x - 16 = 0 by factorization method.

Therefore:

➠ 2x² + 4x - 16

➠ 2x² + 8x - 4x - 16

➠ 2x (x + 4) -4 (x + (+4))

(2x - 4) (x + 4)

Hence:

  • (2x - 4) = 0

Or

  • (x + 4) = 0
