solve the equation 2x +y =2 and 2y - x =4by substution method

hey mate ..!!!!

given here ..

2x +y = 2. .....(1)

-x +2y = 4. .....(2)

by (1) ,

y= 2-2x. ...(3)

put value in (2)

-x +2(2-2x)=4

-x+4-4x=4

-5x +4=4

-5x=0

x=0

then,

put value of x =0 in (3)

y= 2-2×0

y= 2

thus :

value of x and y will be

= 0, 2

hey friend your answe

2x+y=2

y=2-2x---(1)

2y-x=4----(2)

put y=2-2x in equation (2)

2y-x=4

2(2-2x) -x=4

4-4x-x=4

4-5x=4

-5x=4-4

x=0

put x=in equation(1)

y=2-2x

=2-2×0

=2-0

y=2
